On 17 June 2019, HERAS provided a one day advanced workshop on “How to write a successful proposal in Horizon 2020”, for the officials and academic staff of all Kosovo Public Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The workshop was organized in close cooperation with MEST and according to Mrs. Qamile Sinanaj Head of International Cooperation, its intention was to support the public HEIs in order to increase the absorption capacities with regard to HORIZON 2020 funding. The HERAS expert, Mr. Gorazd Weiss (Centre for Social Innovation, Austria), in accordance with the needs of the participants offered training in modules that are related to H2020 and in particular: Project Design (incl, development of a project idea, how to find an appropriate H2020 call for your project idea, writing a project outline and an institutional profile, setting up the project consortium, and how to find appropriate partners); H2020 application form – structure of the proposal (incl. project impact, and setting up the project content); H2020 application form – structure of the proposal (incl. defining the project Management structure, how to maximize impact, dissemination and exploitation, and submission & evaluation); and H2020: Practical information for participation (incl. financial and legal Issues). Mrs. Arbresha Meha mentioned that this workshop is a follow-up to the two days event that was held in October 2017. Furthermore she stated that HERAS will continue to support activities related to H2020.
